Update!

WhoHoo! The health nurse was over this morning and we weighed baby Jeremy, and he is 8 lbs and 7.5 ounces! That officially takes him off of the concern list and puts him in the 50th percentile exactly where he is supposed to be!

Nursery

Finally after 6 weeks I managed to get Jeremy's nursery done...but I guess you could say that I did get it done on time, as he was really only due last week!

6 Weeks Old

Wow! As hard as it is to believe, Jeremy is already 6 weeks old....He is doing good now and for anyone who was keeping track, he is gaining weight...I think he is actually almost 8 lbs. He is just outgrowing his preemie clothes now and may actually fit into new born stuff next week....
His jaundice has also cleared up, and he is looking very handsome and for once not yellow....LOL!
He is proving to be a really good little boy....barely ever crys, and pretty much sleeps most of the time, although he is staying awake for longer and longer periods of time.
He had his first bath that wasn't a sponge bath on Wednesday...He was really good, and only cried for a minute when we took him out because he was cold...
He has also had a few smiles, but I wouldn't swear yet that they weren't gas...

We are really happy he is here with us....I think we might keep him!

Special thanks to our friend Brenda K and my mom for throwing us another baby shower. This shower was held at Gateway Christian Fellowship and was attended by family, many non-Avonhurst friends, and a few friends who work with me(and my parents) at sears. Robyn and I just want to say a special thanks to everyone at Avonhurst(our church) for all the gifts and support we have received since Jeremy's birth. Also we want to say a special thanks to Naomi, our good friend, who organized a terrific baby shower for us. She also has taken special interest in looking after our grandson Talon at church every Sunday. THANKS

The first time they let us out of the hospital

These were taken on Friday, Jan 12, 2007. We took these pictures just before they released us. We only got to go home for two days, before they admitted him into the kids ward for UV lamp treatment. His jaundice was quite bad. They kept him under the lamp for the rest of the week.

This is the bear hat that we bought at the Gap back in October.
